The Challenge
Meetskip is a free online chat room platform that connects users at random and monetizes traffic through ads. But the site was ranking low in search engines and the organic traffic (and ad revenue) was poor.
Ranking high for critical keywords was vital if they wanted to grow their user base and ad income.

Our Approach
The client had a well-researched, specific keyword list. We double-checked each keyword to make sure it was worth ranking for (some keywords lack traffic and don’t provide any ROI) and went ahead.
In the first month, we focused on fixing the on-site issues like page loading speed and indexing. On-site problems directly work against most if not all SEO strategies.
Next, we launched a targeted backlink-building campaign. We continued building backlinks through the next couple of months, quickly climbing the search results and ranking for more than 100 keywords by the third month.

The Results
We started working with Meetskip in July 2018 and in just 7 months down the line, traffic reached a critical tipping point. Meetskip became the #1 search result for the competitive keyword “random chat site”.
Since that point, organic traffic has consistently grown month on month. By November 2019, Meetskip’s traffic increased by 2194%, going from 3,661 sessions/mo to 83,975 sessions/mo.
This increased traffic value from $1,208 to $32,218 according to Ahrefs (a specialized SEO tool). Now, monetizing through ads is a realistic business model while we continue to grow traffic volume and domain authority.
