The Challenge
Despite having offices in Venezuela, Colombia and Ecuador, construction experts Conkor weren’t showing up in Google’s local search results. Organic traffic was at dismal 19 unique visits per month.
Conkor needed for a long-term solution that would be the most cost-effective for their limited budget.
We spent some time crunching the numbers and comparing an SEO campaign to a PPC campaign. In the end, we calculated that SEO would deliver a higher ROI over time because:
- It’s more cost-effective over a longer period of time.
- Visitors trust organic listings more than paid search results.

Our Approach
The first month kicked off with some on-site optimization and GMB profile setup. We set up a plan for a long-term local campaign targeting Venezuela specifically. We developed a local backlink strategy aimed at Venezuelan sites and identified relevant directories to boost search engine visibility.
Within two months, we saw a major jump in the rankings. As their website is in Spanish, we conducted the SEO campaign in Spanish.

The Results
In 6 months Conkor was ranked #1 for six of their primary keywords and were in the top 10 search results for several others.
Their #1 positions held steady for more than a year bringing in a continuous stream of traffic.
Since then, they’ve been able to reap the long-term ROI rewards of SEO and lower their monthly budget to minor maintenance. So far, CSEO has increased Conkor’s organic traffic by 1084% and growing.
